Project Description
We were told to create a game that involved chance in it on starlogo nova and also we did some activities like flipping coins 50 times to see what would appear most or if there was a pattern and we also used dice and we played a game that showed chance or probability so we had to keep track of the total and rolled 50 times and that's how we got started with this whole project.
Benchmark Description
In Benchmark #1 we had to Figure out what game you want to create in Starlogo Nova, Benchmark #2: Create a detailed game description, including all breeds and agents that are planned on being used. Benchmark: #3: Document how your game is going to be programmed in Starlogo Nova and practice using different agents to see if they'll work in your game. Benchmark: #4: Start creating your game! Get through bugs and implement your "chance" element. Benchmark #5: Finalize your game and show it off on exhibition night. Benchmark #6: Create a detailed game description again, including all breeds and agents that you used in your game. Benchmark #7: Create a page on your DP and write a project description, go over benchmarks, describe your game, and reflect on the project.
I think that the benchmarks are important because it shows the work and progress you have done through out this whole project.
Chance of the Game
How you play this is you choose a number 1-9 and on the screen you will see 3 numbers and they will choose random numbers and you have to try and try and get a match for what you picked and for each time you get a match you get a point.
Reflection
Overall, I kind of like this project because when i first tried to use starlogo nova and i wasn't quite understanding it well, for example i tried and code something and it wouldnt work for me and even after going to some of my other classmates i still didn't understand it, and that was seek why and prove because i had to prove to my classmates taht it wasnt working. So what i did was a classmate suggested me this website called scratch that was the same thing but i sort of remembered how to use it from middle school but when i used it i understood it. that was collaborate and listen i was listening to my other classmates advice because they saw that i was having trouble with starlogo nova.
